Sé Cathedral

The students of 7ºB went to center of São Paulo and there they visit the Ground Zero and Sé Cathedral, and they saw how big it is. They saw its stained glasses,all of its interior and  the crypt,where are buried Tibiriça the first indian that was catechized, and a lot of bishops and priests.

Sé Cathedral

        

         It was inaugurated  in 1954. It's one of the oldest Cathedrals of São Paulo. In the Cathedral there are a lot of stained glass and texts in latin. In the cript of the Cathedral, there are the bodies of people who helped in the construction of the city of São Paulo. They helped in the Cathedral too. In the temple there are panphlets for you to understand the history of the Cathedral. 

Chá Viaduct was the first viaduct of São Paulo city. It is located in the Valley of Anhangabaú in the center of São Paulo. It was designed by Frenchman Jules Martins in 1877 , but it was only opened on November 6 , 1892. Initially the construction was designed with metal frames, which gave way to the use until the old structure was replaced by concrete beams present today.

 My Vacations

BONITO

My vacations were really nice. I enjoyed them a lot and the weather there was very nice and warm. I went to Bonito and went floating on several lakes and beautiful waterfalls with crystal clear water, and I would have done the scuba diving but the best part of my vacation was to spend time with people I love.

MY LAST VACATION

My vacation was wonderful. I liked it because I went to an aquatic park, I swam, and the weather was hot because it was in Olimpia, São Paulo.

I didn't ride a horse, go to the mall or go to the cinema, but I rode a bike and I walked.

The best thing about my vacation was the trip with my mom, my dad and my brother to the aquatic park, in Olimpia. The name of the aquatic park was”THERMAS DOS LARANJAIS”.

I liked my vacation. It was good.

Vacations

Hello, my name is Gabriel, today I’m going to tell about my vacation.

On the first day, I slept in my aunt’s apartment, then, I went to the pool and I played soccer with my friends.

Afterthat, I went to Guaruja. My aunt has a house there. We went to the beaches, we ate typical foods and we went to the mall.

When we got back, me and my mother went to the shopping mall, then we watched Ghostbuster’s. (I liked so much the movie!!!) and afterwards we watched Ice Age: The Big Bang. I didn’t like it so much, because I think this film is for kids.

On the same day, me and my friend went to the Cordeiro’s Park. I played soccer and I made many friends.

My uncle and my aunt took me to Campos do Jordão. I liked so much this place! The constructions were very old but the city was beautiful.  

In the last week, I watched Flash and Arrow with my mom.

In my vacation

In my vacation, I went to California. I visited the cities of San Francisco and San Jose. There I went to the University of San Jose to study English. I  loved to learn more English. And visit new places.

Alcatraz

 I went to the Alcatraz prison. I went to the Golden Gate Bridge. The American practiced sports there. I also went to the Six Flags. I went to a baseball game and to the Levi's Stadium. And also to the amusement park called Santa Cruz. I visited the company of Google, Intel and Apple. 

               

Santa Cruz 

I met a lot of people from around the world including people from Asia, Europe and America.  We went to a lot of malls around the city. We played a lot of games including night games. I went to the beach. I went to the Imax cinema and to the Technology museum. And visited a lot of wonderful places.

I don't know which I liked the best. But, I loved my trip.

  MY LAST VACATION

My vacation was good. I slept a lot and watched TV and videos on YouTube. A few days later, I went to visit my grandma in Minas Gerais, it was very hot and that was the best thing about my vacation. One week later I was back home and I went to my farm, but I wanted to go to park Ibirapuera, but I went to the shopping mall.

Tourists need help ...

The study was very good. We had different experiences and we saw some signs or some ways to help tourists. Not that it was very much, but we saw some. Like for example:

Cathedral of See

The cathedral, is currently the ground zero of São Paulo. In this place there is a big flow of people, including English-speaking tourists.

Pateo of Collegio" 

In the "Pateo do colégio" there was a sign describing that it was there that São Paulo was founded.

MUSEUM ANCHIETA

The museum has a model of São Paulo   ↓

 A long time after the expulsion of jesuits, they tried to return to Patteo do Colégio, but only in 1979 they did it and they opened the museum with donations and devolutions. The atual collection was almost complete in this time.

THE LARGO OF SÃO FRANCISCO   

In the Largo was founded the first college of Brazil. The church was important for the history of São Paulo and it was a meeting point of jesuits.

TEA VIADUCT -The Chá Viaduct has this name because on the old days , they sold  tea in this place. The place has many people and a bridge, sellers ,many cars. It was not such a good place because it has beggars .

PATEO DO COLEGIO- the school yard was an old building that they reformed recently and there is a museum in its place. There's also a library and a snack bar.

My Last Vacation

My vacation was awesome and funny. First, I went to Rio de Janeiro to see my grandparents, and I stayed in my grandma's house for two weeks. In this period of time, I went to a lot of museums, I saw a film in the cinema and I went a few times to the beach because the weather wasn’t the ideal to go to the beaches. Then I went to a camp in Campos do Jordão. There are a lot of games, soccer, black, police and thief and so many others. In this place the weather was very cold. Finally I went home and I played soccer and hide-and-seek with my friends who live in the building I live.

Sé Cathedral

In 1913, the construction of Sé Cathedral began. It was made by the german Maximilian Emil Hehl, teacher of Architecture of the Politechnique school. The temple was inaugurated on January 25th of 1954 on the celebration of the 4th century of São Paulo, but without 2 of the main  towers. In 1745, the "old Sé” was elevated at the category old Cathedral.The Catedral has a crypt, inaugurated in 1991. In the front of the Cathedral is located the
Ground Zero.The Sé Cathedral was reopened in 2002. It's the oldest church of São Paulo.

             My Last Vacation

This vacation I stayed home. It was not as boring as it sounds, and it was actually really nice. In the first week I went to the mall to watch some movies and stayed on my phone for the most part. In the second week, I went to my friend’s house and we played some games. In the third week however my cousin from Curitiba came to my house and stayed there for the whole week. It was very fun. In the fourth and final week nothing special happened, so I studied for the first week of school, but in overall it was very nice and cozy.
